I mean Australian Cricket Team. 135/8 and they win the freaking cricket match to chase 204. Not even the fact that their good old friends England will go to super-six made them stop. What will it take to defeat the Aussies? A combined world team?

If England won, they needed Pakistan to win; if England lost, they needed Pakistan to win within a certain margin. Because the game was so close, that margin is pretty much unattainable by Pakistan, so England should still go through if Pakistan beat Zimbabwe. Would have been REALLY nice to win this one though. Full marks to Bichel. Not many 10th men would be allowed to play 33 balls in that period of time and that won the game. Great game, hurting badly now though, Paul We all will feed the worms and trees

Here is a raw data for Pakistan to qualify for super sixes. A difficult task indeed but there are some signs of hope. The data i am presenting below is just a raw data presented by a private television in Pakistan. Exact situation will come tomorrow from South Africa: In match b/w Pak and Zim, if Pak bats first then they are required to score 334 runs and not allow Zim to score anything more than 247 runs. Batting second Pak is required to chase at the rate of 11.2 runs per over on whatever score Zim put on board, batting first.

Woah! They'll be looking to bat first then? 334 / 247 sounds like a feasible (if still a little tough) target on the right surface. 11.2 r/o is hell whatever the surface is like. Paul We all will feed the worms and trees

Crickinfo.com is showing the following as an official ICC media release: If Zimbabwe bat first and score 100, Pakistan will need to get the runs in 10.5 overs. If Zimbabwe bat first and score 150, Pakistan will need to get the runs in 12.1 overs. If Zimbabwe bat first and score 200, Pakistan will need to get the runs in 13.2 overs. If Zimbabwe bat first and score 250, Pakistan will need to get the runs in 14.2 overs. If Pakistan bat first and score 200 they will need to dismiss Zimbabwe for 13 or less. If Pakistan bat first and score 250 they will need to dismiss Zimbabwe for 62 or less. If Pakistan bat first and score 300 they will need to dismiss Zimbabwe for 112 or less. If Pakistan bat first and score 350 they will need to dismiss Zimbabwe for 161 or less. Note that these targets are approximate in the event of Zimbabwe batting first, as they assume that Pakistan pass the target by 1 run. It is possible that they could get the winning runs with a six and thus pass the target by 6 runs. Thus it is possible that they may have an extra ball or two available if they do this. It's slightly ironic that our chances may have been greater if we'd been beaten more comprehensively today, giving Pakistan a more reasonable target requiring less risk. that looks pretty tough man..but u know what ..but if Javed Miandad, Imran Khan and Abdul Qadir come back tomorrow..things could go either way !!! There are no failures; there are only extended learning opportunities.

I will like to say that Zim will defeat Pak but the moment I say some good thing it doesnot happen. Anyway, Zim is not an ordinary team anymore. They are fully capable of defeating Pakistan esp. with the current form of Pakistan. Plus it was your prediction that Aus, Zim, Ind or Pak will get in SX. You got the part with Aus and Ind right. I feel that there is a good bit of chance for Zim to get thru'. I can't stop fantasizing about all the different things that can happen is SXs. Two teams have to be eliminated. Who will those two be? My guess 1. Kenya 2. Zim (if they get thru). It will get interesting and interesting. My fear grows that Law of Avgs will hit Tendulkar in this crucial stage.
