This term is thrown around a lot now, but it could mean ANYTHING. Here's[^] a good exmaple.. Exactly WHAT does the developer need to know here?

If it's not broken, fix it until it is

I like there job description. Looks like it was put together by someone other than HR. Full stack versus half-stack, pancakes. They want to know if you like to eat a lot of pancakes. :)

As far as I have seen, full stack means that you are a professor for everything from the database to the presentation layer, plus anything else they might come up with. - Know the ins and the outs of REST & SOAP I would lower the bar a little: - Know the ins and the outs of WATER & SOAP That should take care of a better climate in the office :-)

The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a fucking golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?" "You mean like from space?" "No, from Canada." If software development were a circus, we would all be the clowns.

I didn't click the ad, I'm at work. But to me full stack often means: being responsible from the database all the way up to CSS. No thank you.

If the stack is full, you can't put anything else on it, therefore a full stack developer is one who can't do anything else, because he's already too busy.
