Display Codec Information Using MPLAYER

Hello there. I am trying to display codec info (frame rate, bitrate) on the mplayer. I am trying following line but it shows only in the console .... and not in the video. mplayer -ao null -frames 0 -identify rtsp://my_cam_ip:port How do I display codec info in mplayer video ?? thanks for any pointer.
