      I still have flashbacks to 1996 when the european football was on in the UK. Even the gay pubs had big screens ! The only place which didn't was Weatherspoons and they were crowded out :(( Elaine (sport free zone) The tigress is here :-D

        I have never complained about your cricket posts before. I'm just tired of seeing them. It pushes all of the "good" posts that I want to read to the bottom. I can't wait until we get a sports message board. It is the soapbox so I can rant about the cricket posts if I like. BTW, I did say please. ;P

          I was away from CP for the weekend and when I came back the soapbox had been overrun by cricket. I just needed to vent. I can ignore them, its just inconvenient to have to click Next until I get to a non-cricket post. Especially with my slow connection at home.

                  So did I. Towards the end. I said, "Please bear with us till then (March 23rd)". :) And it wasn't just you I got mad at. Recently there have been a lot of posts saying people should stop posting about Cricket and how they hate Cricket blah blah blah. I was in a bad mood when I saw your post, because of some problems at work, and I just couldn't stop myself. Normally I am not so short tempered. Anyway, no hard feelings. :)

I'm trying to round up a hockey posse for the NHL playoffs, so that we can have our rightful revenge. ;) <tasteless-to-some-but-see-if-i-care> If bombing Iraq could stop these cricket posts, then I would reconsider my stance on the Iraqi issue.                           Basketball is an ok sport, but not the one I sit up at night to watch though. :) Nor could I if I wanted to, I don't think they broadcast NCAA basketball in Sweden. NBA barely reaches the sport headline news here. :| NCAA? :~ They any good? I googled it and found that it's "Division III" basketball.                               NCAA = National Collegiate Athletic Association (or something like that) Its College Basketball. I mainly like to watch Division I which are the larger schools like Illinois, Duke, Arizona, North Carolina, etc. IMO, college basketball is much better than the NBA.
