How is the 'pin' feature meant to work on messages
-
Hi Guys At the end of each forum message is a 'pin' button which turns orange when it is clicked. However, if I refresh the page in Chrome the 'pin' reverts to 'unpinned'. How is this meant to work, or has this already been answered elsewhere?

The point of such a pin is that you can open multiple messages at the same time. Normally, when you open a message on the forum when there's already one open, the previous one gets closed. To prevent this, you can put a pin on the first message so it doesn't close when you open the second one. That's how it's meant to work.

Hi ProgramFOX maybe the tooltip can be modified to explain that this pin does not pin to the top of the forum and does not have an influence to other users? Pining a software-window on the personal desktop is one common usage of pining, pining it to the top of a forum another. This is why a more descriptive tooltip could help ...
