This is something I have come up against recently and that is dealing with the Japanese language in responsive web applications. Changing the formation of a sentence can change the entire context or meaning. How do we deal with this - if a sentence is too long for a field and spills onto the next line? Is there anywhere I can read up on how this is handled? Any information would be appreciated! Example 私は、コードが好き = I , like the code 私は、コードが好 き = I , code is good Can

I am not sure there is a solution to this problem because text does overflow to next line. In web development there are two solutions to this. 1. Decrease the font to make it fit the content width size. 2. Force a min-width option to make sure the text stays in one line and user must have window sized enough to view the content. Otherwise, (AFAIK) there are no options to this problem.

This must be an issues that Japanese web designers have already addressed. You probably need to find a Japanese speaking developer to help you. Try a gneral plea in the Lounge.
