Updating Tech Blog changes its type to Article automatically

when ever i update my tech blog details to revise it, it automatically gets published as article, which should not happen. why this is happening, am i missing something, or it is a bug in system?

It's a bug. We're still trying to recreate perfectly. Perhaps you would be a good test case ... thank you kindly for your message.

My tech blog post got synced from my blog, but it had code formatting issues, when i updated it by editing it got published as article instead of tech blog, i had to come again when i realized that and explicitly change the type to tech blog again and update that.
