Anyone ever listen to these guys? http://www.punditz.com/[^] Pretty cool stuff. Jazzy, chilled out Indian drum-n-bass-ish electronica. Currently listening to "Aajare". Cool stuff. There is also another percussionist in India, Shiv Mani, who I like very much. I can't seem to find any link at the moment. Guess he doesn't have a website. Seeing him perform live is the best thing that has happened to me, music wise I mean. A real treat. Thanks for the link. I am listening to their music right now. Click the "Soundz" link on the page. Cool stuff. And all of them are Hindi movie songs, redone, remixed, whatever. I didn't know Hindi music was popular outside India too. :)

...celebrating Indian spirit and Cricket. 8MB video, really cool!

Rohit  Sinha wrote: Thanks for the link Quite welcome. I remeber, about 10 years ago or so, visiting a friend of mine, who is Sikh, and his parents would have on various Indian pop music. It sort of sunk in I guess, and I really like music that has an Indian vibe to it now. Just isn't that common. I'll try to find some Shiv Mani. Talvin Singh, who i think is currently in the UK, but is of Indian decent and his music has those influences. Happy Listening!:-D BW "We get general information and specific information, but none of the specific information talks about time, place or methods or means..." - Tom Ridge - US Secretary of Homeland Security
