I guess this is a continuation (spel?) of the freedom fries, no champagne drinking, etc, and that the Google guys decided to jump on the band wagon... Things people think up hey? (Sorry to French members..) BTW. Doesn't Einstein look good today? :)

I like a good anti-French poke as much as anyone (and I dare say by some people's reckoning I'd have more reason to hand them out), but (a) I don't hold individuals responsible for their governments, and (b) I just don't find that at all funny, sorry. That wasn't a joke, it was an act of carefully premeditated vandalism; they tampered with what would easily be upheld as a "public service" in any sub-standard US court of law, which is taking things too far. Fear's a terrible thing in the wrong hands.
