Rumors

Its amazing how many rumors are flying aorund about the war already starting. First they were saying that Tarik Aziz was captured (false), then 15 Iraqis had surrendered (false, it was 17 I guess), and now some british news sites are reporting that an attack has begun[^] (don't know if this is true). I wish the media would at least attempt to verify rumors before they publish things. :mad:

Fox news has been reporting that US aircraft attacked 10 artillery pieces near the Kuwait border that were within range of US troops. Uptight Ex-Military Republican married to a Commie Lib - How weird is that?

Obviously - I was trying to point out the absurdity of the assertion that the attack was part of normal enforcement operations when it's quite obvious why it was carried out (personally, given the situation I think it was justified).
