How much are they gonna spend on re-construction? They spend $75 bill on demolishing it and I assume they will probably spend about $5 bill rebuilding. Seems like a fair trade to me :suss: Isn't there stuff to spend $75billion on in the US? I'm sure hospitals, schools etc... would love that kind of money.

Thomas George wrote: and you thought everything in a democratic republic was done by choice? My point is, at this time in the democratic process, we have no choice. No choice but to keep protests peaceful(there is a choice not to protest irresponsibly though, or too excess), No choice, but to produce a "$600,000 a cruise missile", since the war has already started. It seems as though the democratic process has come and gone, and replaced by bureaucracy, IMO. Later,

...and on September 10, 2001 nobody would have believed the WTCs and 3000 of it's occupants had less than 24 hours to live. X| Maybe if it was French lives you were gambling with you wouldn't be so sure. Mike Mullikin

NK could send chemical loaded missiles to the US. Lybia and Iran have already carried terrorist attacks against the US. China, Russia, Pakistan could nuke the US. Following your logic, will you preemptively destroy all of them? Mike Mullikin wrote: Maybe if it was French lives you were gambling with you wouldn't be so sure French lives are now gambled by Bush, facing a rise of terrorist attacks. How is it better?
