...he tried to buy a printer on eBay, but was refused by the vendor when it was discovered he lived in Vancouver. David Ingram received notification that his winning bid of $24.50 had been canceled, along with this message: "At the present time, we do not ship to, or accept bids from, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany or any other country that does not support the United States in our efforts to rid the world of Saddam Hussein. If you are not with us, you are against us." http://www.wired.com/news/ebiz/0,1272,58190,00.html[^] disgusting. -c

If the auction specifically did not say that the seller does not ship to, or accept bids from, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany or any other country that does not support the United States in the shipping procedures, I would certainly give them some negative feedback. On eBay, that would seriously effect their ability to be trusted.

Dumb. All the way around: unless they renounce what their government is doing we won't do any business with them anymore. (No, not an American speaking about France. Rather, a German talking about American companies.) In the London suburb of Milton Keynes, the Greens party have called on consumers to boycott 330 American products ranging from Mars bars to Gap jeans and American films on DVD and video. http://asia.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml;jsessionid=MUA54FEPSUMUGCRBAE0CFEY?type=worldNews&storyID=2446663[^] ------------------------------------------ "What happened in that Rhode Island club is shocking. Right. Maybe the term got lost in translation, or something. London is a big city, but not *that* big!! Milton Keynes is a town about 50 miles from London. So it's a bit like calling, say, Westport CT a suburb of New York. Debbie
