Official: Microsoft's C# is Cool

And what platforms will it be availble for? NT4? Win98? Win95? Should be interesting. MS's track record on supporting older versions of their OS's (you know, the one's people actually use) is spotty at best. Likely, they'll offer a run-time for W2K and ME and promise it for everything else - only it will never arrive. Or it will arrive so badly crippled as to be useless. As a language, C# looks interesting, but as a product it smells like another vehicle to sell W2K licenses

COOL was the name of the MS clone of Java language about the time the court case with Sun started. However, MS officials denied the rumors of a new language being developed. The article at theregister is trying to establish that fact which was denied by looking at the documentations and sources. It, therefore, has nothing to do with the word "cool". So the title of your post should rather be, Officially C# is COOL. Regards, Paul.

I was under the impression that you should only capitilize each letter of a name if it is an acronym. since I do not believe that Cool is an acronym but a name then only the first name should be capitilized. However since I only cut and pasted the title from The Register maybe you should take up your arguments with them! :
