This Thursday I'll be jetting off to Baltimore for the day to attend a conference. I fly out in the morning and return the same evening, so I won't be checking any baggage. I get the following in an e-mail confirmation from Southwest Airlines: "At a growing number of airports, Customers will need to bring one of the following, along with their government-issued photo ID, to proceed through the security checkpoint: 1. A Boarding Pass or 2. A Security Document and Itinerary/Receipt or 3. A Security Document and Ticket Customers not checking luggage may Retrieve/Print their Security Document beginning 6:00 AM one day prior to their flight. To Retrieve/Print your Security Document and for Important Information needed prior to traveling, visit the Travel Center at http://www.southwest.com/travel\_center" Exactly how important can these "security" documents be if they are freely printed from a web site. How will this aid in security even one small bit? Mike Mullikin

"Exactly how important can these "security" documents be if they are freely printed from a web site. How will this aid in security even one small bit?" It could contain the following information: 1. How to do hand-to-hand combat with a terrorist 2. How to defuse a bomb 3. The best angle to jump in case the plane is going down 4. The best bargain on life insurance :-)
