My comments disappear

Hi, Hope this is the right place. For the last few comments I have made have disappeared from the questions, they are still on My Comments list but clicking the question and they are not there. For example How do I get rid of this error and successfully save the details in my databse[^] I have now made it an answer to see if it sticks.

It's a known problem, reported a few posts below this one.
