Update Windows 7 to USB 3.0
-
Is it possible to update Windows 7 to USB 3.0? I'm pretty much hardware illiterate. Is there somewhere I can go to check this? I found [this](https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/software/chipset-software/000005497.html) but from what I can tell I have Intel 5 Series/3400 chipset.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.

Windows 7 had no built-in support for USB 3.0. The entire stack had to be provided by vendor drivers. So, if your motherboard has the hardware on it to support USB 3.0, and they provided Win7 drivers for it, that should be all you need.
