Which updated articles go to the top of the list?
-
Hello! I recently made some valuable (to my opinion) updates to my article, but it did not go to the top of the list. At the same time I remember that some of my articles were moved to the top after even minor updates. So what is the criterion for the article to be moved to the top after being updated? Also as far as I understand, few points should have been awarded for editing the article, which also did not happen. Is it a issue with the site?

There is a check box at the bottom of the article editor: Mark this article as updated? If that is not checked the update time stamp of the article is not set and the updated article will not be shown in the list of updated / new articles. Having a look at your articles shows that the last update was on Jun 30 2017. So you might have not set that check box. But the revision history shows updates: Implementing Dynamic Resources with Direct3D12[^]. I don't know for sure if no points are awarded when the article is not marked as updated (I'm a normal member like you and not site staff).

Thank you for the suggestion, but I cannot really find this checkbox. I only see two checkboxes in my editor: I have read and agree to the contributor's agreement and Work in progress: don't publish. I used text search on the page to make sure I did not miss it. I asked about the points because this is not the first time it happened, and last time there was a problem with the site, so this may be somehow related this time.

It is below the 'Work in progress' checkbox. If you don't see that it might be bug.

This is what it looks like for me: CP — imgbb.com[^]
It looks different for me. Besides the missing update check box I have also a "Expert mode: Don't mess with my HTML formatting" which is missing in your screenshot too. You should wait for an answer from the site staff or issue a bug report in the Bugs and Suggestions[^] forum.
