    Engadget[^]:

MyLiFi is a lamp that provides a secure, wireless, radiowave-free internet connection to nearby devices, all through the data-transferring power of LEDs.

Whoa, man. Look at the strobes!

Yeah, "invisible LEDs". I'm betting on headache-inducing flickers.

Morse Code or Semaphore anybody? And I'm sure that some enterprising AD Service will figure out a way to subliminally advertise by finding some weakness in this. Nevermind that it was reported a year or so ago that a way to breach air-gaps is by utilizing the existing LED's on a computer.

Mr Wizard did this couple of decades ago. [Can You Send Sound On A Light Beam? (Mr. Wizard) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj\_wdMU-b04) Granted with sound, but the principal is the same. Out of all the things I could remember, like where my keys are this is what my brain finds useful.. :)

Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.
