I'm not sure how to describe the problem without posting connection string info: I'm able to connect to a remote SQL server at my client's site from my home using SSMS with their external IP. Yet my app cannot connect, either remotely or from in their LAN. Remotely using SSMS I connect with their external IP. From inside I use their 192.168... IP address. Th SQL log file shows "Login failed for user 'kmarois'. Reason: Password did not match that for the login provided" I used the same login for both local and remote. I'm not really sure how to diagnose this or correct it. Could use some help here.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.
