Guess who?

There is no reason to give a 'modify-message-number/password' in case of a register user. Since i have logged-in, i should be able to modify my messages. Don't give it a second though till monday. Have a nice Weekend! (you are chris right?) --------------

Anonymous, named postings are back. Anything posted by someone not logged on shows in grey, anyone logged on and posting under a different name shows in grey, and anonymous posters can't use the name of someone who has registered. And a new smiley: :|. Kinda sums up my week :) cheers Chris Maunder

Kind of nice. My only concern is that new users might not know what gray messages mean, and still assume that the name is correct. I think there should be some kind of signal like: Posted By: Chris Maunder (Unvalidated). Even better. Don't allow the use of registered names.

You're right. Currently you can't post using a registered name, but you can using something really close to a registered name. I spent a bit of time trying to work out the best approach given limited screen space but am out of energy, so we all need to have a collective think about it and on Monday we'll come up with the perfect solution, right? right?? :) cheers, Chris Maunder
