    When new posts are flagged thus, with the message

    inserted as a plceholder.... all very well and good, but when it's in reply to another message, the OP still gets sent an email containing the potentially harmful or offensive message... perhaps these should be queued until the message has passed moderation, and deleted if not.

      I can't find it at the moment, but I raised a similar issue some time ago. It relates to the "five second rule", where you can edit a forum reply "invisibly" if you are quick enough after posting it. The original version is emailed. This allows a form of abuse (which I must admit I have never seen or heard of). Cheers, Peter
