Can't I edit my own answer ?

When hovering over your answer, on the right side where your name is located, you should find "Improve question" link. This opens a new page where yu can see the original question and edit your answer. The original question is shown a bit differently compared to what it looks like when not editing so don't get confused by that. You should find your answer in an editable text box when you scroll down the page.
