Need Advice from Web/Database Pros! Assuming my web host is using a NT server and I am using MS FrontPage to build and upload my site to the host… what is the best database to use to create dynamic, real-time integrated databases for the site? I am looking for functionality that would allow searches by multiple criteria. It would also need to allow the user to add, delete or update information in the database via password protected access. I have experience working with ACCESS and used it with FrontPage to create very low level database solutions but is Access robust enough to handle large complex multi-search functions receiving multiple simultaneous inquiries? I understand that there are a variety of programming solutions, but unfortunately, I am not a programmer I need advice within the realm of packages such as FrontPage. I am not married to FrontPage… and am open to all suggestions. Thank you very much for your time and help. My email is: velvetpaws@email.com Rebecca :-O JustMe

Hai, Since you are using a Windows NT server the best choice is to go for a SQL Server If you expect a lot of hits to ur site. But if it is of small size and of lesser hits you can go for ACCESS since this comes with your Office package. And if you want to go for some dynamic realtime effects to your site better you should go for a scripting language like ASP, JSP etc. And for the coding better you can use Microsoft's Visual Interdev if you are using ASP.Front page is also can be used for design purouse but for scripting interdev will be better.
