    ZDNet[^]:

    Docker this, container that, and Kubernetes it all. Welcome to IT in the twenty-teens, but will it continue to be "all containers, all the time?" Some developers are turning to other approaches.

      When I ask why Docker is such a good idea, the most common response is that it "mmakes deployment easier". My response to that is to learn how to properely deploy your freakin code.

        As a non-user the whole thing sounds like it's going down the same path as the pile of cluster-:elephant:s that is java tooling.

        while (!giveThePlatformUpEntirely)
        {
        DecideRemovingAnyPartOfTheCurrentStackIsImpossible();
        CreateAToolToMakeManagingTheEntireStackEasier();
        RealizeNewToolMakesStuffToComplex();
        }

        Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. Syntax Error: Method name incorrect. RealizeNewToolMakesStuffTooComplex() :-D :-\
