      Where did this rubber duck thing come from and what does it mean? I'm old school. I just wave a dead chicken over my code.

      When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

          It comes from the book The Pragmatic Programmer[^] My favourite implementation (apart from my own duck, Bob - he's the one in camo) is Rubber Duck Debugging – Debugging software with a rubber ducky[^] where you can "talk" to CyberDuck :laugh:
