Is it possible to delete the many "Message Closed" posts on the first 2 or 3 pages?

A silly idea: could you schedule a "clean up" app to automatically purge all closed messages over say one month old? That would give people time to ask for it to be reopened if closed in error, and still tidy everything up in a reasonable timeframe?
