I can't load a new image under "My Settings" ... I continuously get Mo, Larry, and Curley munching on meloplastic.

And I've even adhered to the 500KB limit as well as removed all the metadata from it. This is the third day I've tried. I was thinking maybe it's a bug in one of the servers (how could this be happening on all of them?). Even went to bed early and got up early. (inspire ... whistle ... bebebebebebe)

The gravatar (leaving the box checked) works and pressing the page refresh without using the directory control to add a remote image does what I expect ... it adds the pattern. I've never been overly impressed by the machine's imagination in coming up with the pattern ... but that's a topic for another day. :)

I found the issue and have corrected it. You should be able to change your picture now. You will probably have to Ctrl-F5 to force you browser to load the new image from the server rather than the cache. We re-use the file name, and the caching is set for 7 days. Alternately, delete (remove) the old image, save your data, and then select the new image. This will create a new file name. Matthew
