    ZDNet[^]:

Python could soon take first place in one more programming language popularity ranking.

Everyone who's anyone is doing all their work in it*

    * Where: 'everyone' is 'everyone looking up how to do things with it' 'doing all their work' is 'learning how to do things with it' The fact that "The top 20 languages also included Classic Visual Basic, Groovy, Ruby, Go, Swift, MATLAB, Fortran, R, Perl, and Delphi. " should really let people know of the quality of these lists. "Why did you bother posting this, Kent et al?" Because it's a slow news day, and I needed to vent.

"Vent" - that's a great name for a new programming language! The adVent of a new programming paradigm where we reinVent the old, break the conVention, and give you something new to Vent about, but it will be an adVenture! Venture forth, and eVentually we'll be in the list of 20 top languages!
