Chris, I don't know how your ads are selected, but this one might be inappropriate in some places:

"I have no idea what I did, but I'm taking full credit for it." - ThisOldTony "Common sense is so rare these days, it should be classified as a super power" - Random T-shirt AntiTwitter: @DalekDave is now a follower!

"I have no idea what I did, but I'm taking full credit for it." - ThisOldTony
"Common sense is so rare these days, it should be classified as a super power" - Random T-shirt

[edited after replying to the wrong post] The ads are probably personalized, so where in blazes have you been surfing?

Dunno - I normally get computer related ones. I don't think any of those costumes would fit me. IIRC there is normally a filter on the ads to make sure they are appropriate?

I know it seems wrong, but these days, images like that are considered G-rated.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Most places it's not a problem - but some (particularly Islamic) places frown quite strongly on them - IIRC Malaysia for example really doesn't permit underwear or lingerie ads at all.

Not that I really care, but I saw a handful of Spanish language only ads today too. Doesn't really do any good to have Spanish only ads for most of Europe, Canada, and the United States. Spanish speaking countries might find them useful, but is that the main demographic of this site, not sure. Again, I really don't care.

I work for the textile processing industry (for big well-known brands) and I really don't see anything inappropriate there, it's just daily business... .. unless it is desired that wearing a veil is desired. Btw. Same advertisements are common also for men underwear.

 You get ads in that bar? I haven't seen an ad in that bar for a long time now, I still get ads elsewhere so I figured that was normal... Not complaining but maybe @chris-maunder wants to look into it ... (edit 1) hmm why is the @ thingy not working :( (edit 2) k now it did ... And the ad is back now ... Seems to be only on reply / edit messages or something that I get the ad in that bar On the forum itself I don't get it, nor on the home page (edit 3) so quick further testing, I sometimes get the ad on the forums but mostly I don't get it there. Doesnt' seem to be a server issue tho since I'm always on web02 right now I don't have the ad in the edit page (but did have it on edit 2) the add box is there tho, just empty the lounge never has it nor does the home page other pages seems to be a bit hit or miss (mostly miss) If you need more info / debugging let me know :)
