I'm new to all this web stuff, so please be gentle with me :-O A while back, well 3 years or so, actually, I foolishly said I'd sort my Dad out with a very simple web page for his club (hey, I'm a programmer, it can't be that difficult, right ?) Anyway, I did the biz with registering his domain names (2), they are on a parking/redirection site atm (freeparking), pointing to my own isp's web space (which sucks big time in terms of access, but there you go). I'm now looking to make it a bit more "official", and figured I'd move it to a "proper" host, but I'm a bit confused about what I really need. Not a lot, I wouldn't think...but I really need to host 4 domains now (I registered 2 for personal use to have a play with). Am I best leaving them parked at freeparking and just changing the DNS settings to point to the new host when I get it (I would guess so from what I've read elsewhere, but, hey, I trust the people on CP!) Also, do I need to have 4 invidual accounts, one for each domain, or is there a way of combining them to save money? Can anyone recommend any uk based hosts? I'd like a uk one as I'd ideally like to ring up the support/accounts people (for obvious reasons!). Pop mail support would be nice too, and minimal web space/bandwidth. All other whistles and bells are something I have absolutely no idea about whatsoever, and don't know if they are (or could be) useful so I've been a bit boggled by the front end ads of some hosting companies. Ta, Debbie
