    PC Games N[^]:

Intel Arrow Lake specs leak shows eight P-Cores with only eight threads on 15th-gen Core Ultra desktop processor, with no support for DDR4 memory.

Who needs all that high-tech stuff on their CPUs anyway?

Hyper-Threading was always a push when it came to performance. It's actually simpler to build an 8 core non-hyperthreaded CPU than a 4 core hyperthreaded CPU. The microcode is far less complex as well.

Anyone who can concentrate on reading the article with all of those video ads playing deserves a medal!

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

This was the advice I gave to Intel in my 2022 April Fool post: [Const Correctness Taken Out of C++!](https://shaovoon.github.io/article/const.html)

Great April Fool post. The alleged quote from the Intel CEO nails exactly how to eliminate Spectre and Meltdown types of vulnerabilities.
