      It's going to be a long, LONG time before I'd trust Elon with getting me a cup of coffee, nevermind having a chip implanted in my brain.

          Lot of people want to be the first and have their 5 minutes of fame. I still hope it works. (from Musk or others) There are real life applications for neural implants, especially for paralized people or people with neurological problems.

            Looks like a much enhanced version of a cochlear implant.

              Oh, Plenty of real world applications. I just don't think I'll ever trust Elon with any tech decisions that affect chips in my head, seeing how he handled Twitter.
