Slack reveals it has been training AI/ML models on customer data, including messages, files and usage information. It’s opt-in by default.

Now the AIs will be going on and on about how awful work is, while playing online games

Here's hoping someone at Microsoft will send this to the European Commission as this is a blatant violation of GDPR. Slack/SalesForce has sued Microsoft in the EC over Teams and this could easily be used to return the favor.
