    ProPublica[^]:

Former employee says software giant dismissed his warnings about a critical flaw because it feared losing government business.

Not the first company to do that, nor will they be the last

A bit of a long read, but you're worth it.

same stupid Microsoft, same stupid feds. Remember back when Hillary was SoS, and the department needed to update their secure laptops. They awarded the contract to Lenovo. Some brave soul pointed out that this is a Chinese company and likely a very bad idea. Microsoft sorry? Highly unlikely. Same old stupid stuff - more worried about advertising in their OS rather than security. Now, three days ago, this was posted: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/06/13/microsoft-employees-cybersecurity-work-will-factor-into-their-pay.html[^] So, Microsoft consorts with the CCP and PLA while simultaneously telling their employees that they will be held accountable. What idiot is running the ship?
