Not sure whether this is a bug or just odd behavior or what. I just updated and restarted chrome, and the "New Messages Since" time has been set to "now", or at least perhaps to the time when I restarted chrome. I've seen this before when I've exited chrome and restarted more or less right away. Is that expected? Does whatever triggers the New Messages since flag time get stored as a cookie, and since I clear cookies when I close chrome I'm messing things up for myself? Something else going on? Just curious. Maybe I just need to mark CP as ok to keep cookies?

I think it's stored as part of the session. Mine regularly resets, particularly if I restart the browser or don't access the site for a while, and I don't have it set to clear cookies. :)

... and one day they might get around to this[^], which has been on the TODO for well over 8 years. I'm not holding my breath, nor wanting to deride the most excellent hamsters.
