    Bleeping Computer[^]:

SafeBreach security researcher Alon Leviev has released his Windows Downdate tool, which can be used for downgrade attacks that reintroduce old vulnerabilities in up-to-date Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server systems.

Lower shields. What's the worst that could happen?

Dog bless "Security researchers". And by 'bless', I mean, 'beat about the head and shoulders' (there's a nastier version of that a friend used to use, but it's not KSS). Posting as I think there is a potential legitimate use for this - undoing those patches that don't deal well with your install.

At the very least, it makes it way easier to back off a patch in a test environ and prove out suspicions.
