Hello: I am making a program that transforms a numeral to literal but, I have some problems to transform in the English languaje (of America). For example, in spanish: 111,111,111,111,111 is "Ciento once billones, ciento once mil ciento once millones, ciento once mil ciento once" 312,000,000,000,000,000 is "Trescientos doce mil billones" How can I say in English? I will appreciate the help. :-O :-O :-O :-O EGA

      "three hundred and twelve quadrillion" or maybe "three hundred twelve million billions" million (x * 10^6) = 1,000,000 billion (x * 10^9) = 1,000,000,000 trillion (x * 10^12) = 1,000,000,000,000 quadrillion (x * 10^15) = 1,000,000,000,000,000 qunitillion (x * 10^18) = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 this is American English. British English has different names for 10^9 and 10^12, i think. -c ------------------------------ Smaller Animals Software, Inc. http://www.smalleranimals.com
