MSI installation package

Does anyone know how to create MSI (installation) files? I cannot find any information about it.

The only way I know is to use InstallShield Professional Windows Installer Edition.

The native way is to use Windows Installer SDK which comes with Platform SDK. This way is very flexible and powerful but not easy. Alternativly you can use Visual Studio Installer (can be downloaded from msdn.microsoft.com) - very simple but so limited.
