Print feature for CodeProject articles

Why is it that if I want to print one of the many great articles on CodeProject, I always have to first switch to the print view, and then actually print the page?? If I click on the "Print Version" for an article, it's only because I want to print it - why can't CodeProject start the printing right away? I'll have to disagree. If I click printer friendly, it's because I want to read the page without the adverts and menus and stuff, and *then* print it if I want to. MSDN does this wrong IMO, and it drives me nuts.
