They aren't stupid enough toi actually believe the average Iraqi citizen would be better off if the US just left and they aren't stupid enough to believe anything but a despotic regime would emerge and that would be after years of civil war. What they actually want is to make the USA look bad. No coincidence that a lot of money going to those asshole whiner-groups comes from governments hostile to the US. Plenty of French money in that mix.

I can only speak for myself, but replacing 'coalition' forces with UN and handing complete control to the UN and an elected Iraqi government seems the only logical solution/alternative. Mind you, we shouldn't be in this mess at all, but it's too late to do anything now (except bitch, which I'm willing to do :) ). And mind you, this should happen immediately. US forces should be withdrawn as quickly as physically possible. And (all the Gods forbid) if Hussein should win a democratic election, tough shit. The Iraqis will have spoken. (And no, that doesn't mean that his government wouldn't still be accountable to the UN. He doesn't get to restart weapons programs, in the admittedly unlikely case that any of this would come to pass.)
Get a life dude! You don't have a clue. The worse thing that could happen is for the US to withdrawl completely. You want the region to become unstable. You live in a dream world! The UN is a waste of time now. They fail to act all the time. Just look at Africa! They have no balls! You people will moan about a human rights violation but when the US (and allies intervenes in the situation) then everyone starts moaning about them. Someone has to do it and no one else is prepared. Evenuatally, the Iraqi people will be given back control of there country. In 20 years time the Iraqi people will be greatful to the US for liberating them. You think that when Saddam died his sons would not have stepped into his position. They were worse then he was! I suppose you think Mugabe of Zimbabwe was elected fairly too! Over night he became one of the richest men in the world and has killed thousands of people in the progress. He was elected the Democratic President too!

I may have missed this on the news, but what do they expect the Americans to do? Pull out and leave the Iraqi people in the shit. Replace the American forces with UN forces. Let Saddam come back? Anybody point me in the direction of some info on what the real core Anti-War demonstrators want. Survival of the Fitest! And Right now it's the US and their Allies! And atleast for the next few decades! So you can hop on the band wagon or drop to the back of the line like France and Germany. By the way Germany will be hurting very soon for their stance against the US. Their ecomomy is not the best and when Bush pulls the US troops out of Germany their ecomony will really slump. Do you have any idea the amount of money the US forces contribute to Germany's economy? Any guesses?

Finally a good response! Those Anti-War demostrators need to get a job! I am tired of my hard earned money (40% that is) going to these pikey scum which only know how to screw there government!
You're not wrong there!, but surely you gave away the location of your country (40% == UK, Pikey slang for romany, gipsy) ;) Anyway, the majority of AntiBush/War protestors in our country and Muslims, origins from where - urrm let me see the Middle East?
