Yes, but asking in the Visual C++ forum would be more sensible.

You can't download the MSDN Library unless your a subscriber. In that case you'll get the thing on DVD anyway. The other option is to use the library on the web at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp[^]. You can download and install the Platform SDK from here[^]. Be warned - it's a HUGE download... It's the Platform Software Development Kit. It contains huge numbers of libraries and headers, documentation, and stuff, mostly for C++ users, but there's a bunch that can be used in VB. Also, if your writing games, you might want to consider the DirectX SDK also. I would suggest starting out with a couple of books on VB and DirectX if you want to start writing games. You can go here[^] to check out the subscription levels and what they contain. Be warned - they're not cheap - Minimum $199 just for the library! RageInTheMachine9532

There is no place to download the thing except from Microsoft and only by paying the $200 minimum. You can always use the free version from the web at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library[^], but you can't integrate that with Visual Studio for context sensitive help. RageInTheMachine9532
