    hi... is there any way to get an event which will occur when the drop down combobox is clicked?? i.r before the list drops down?? tks "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."1Thess. 5:16-18

        You can go for selected index changed..... But if u want event to be fired once you touch the combobox....then you can go for onblur...But this will happen at client side...

            U r question says that..u want to fire an event once u click on the combobox that is before u select any index.... When u frame question frame it properly
