    i have DB file who was be generated by an other DataBase . but this DB file has a strange extension DTA. this DB file can be opened just by one alone program,that i have it. what i want is to find a way to open this file and modify it?

      The file type .dta is too common to identify. It could be a any of several formats. Try opening it in Notepad or a hex editor, then look for identifiable patterns. It may be possible to determine the record structure visually, then you can write a routine to access it. This usually only works on very simple schemas, or on those that are predominantly text, but you just might get lucky. Will Build Nuclear Missile For Food - No Target Too Small
