Yes, make a try... if you use search for a message, there will be "?" and "search" keywords in the url on the navigator when you go to the selected one. But once you are in the message, if you press "permalink" then the navigator autoupdates itself and in the toolbar you will have an URL in absolute mode with the code ID of the forum and message. i tried with all the dll specified but the ado part is not working.it showed me to add kernel32.dll,ole32.dll and i have included the other 5 common dlls. but its not working ..could u pls tell me if i need to include any other dll to make the ado work ||SnAkeBed||

iam not sure about any api which prints the data grid. but i can suggest you some technique to achieve your task. even i use the same technique, to get my data printed. 1.write a function to print the data in the grid to a text file. 2.using system command or createprocess command, try to print it. if you want, then i can share the function iam using to print the flex grid contents. may be you may have to fine tune it to suit your data grid. good luck.

No i cant use a jar...bcoz my work is to convert the existing code to an applet. the code is too big to convert it to java...so the only way is to make a dll that is java compatible... when u tried with a small java program to access the dll it worked , but when i tried with applet it was not working...do u know whether there is any limitation for applets like ths one??? swaroop
