    Mike, Do you need to keep all 10,000 iterations leading up to your final image? I thought the idea with fractals was to loop back through the formula until you either settle on a value of not, and then paint the pixel (or not). Wouldn't you just need the final iteration, or maybe an array with your decision (paint/don't paint) for each pixel? Would reduce the size of your data by 10k. Paul
