Firefox is in my opinion the best browser out there but there is one thing that bugs me ALOT! Check it out: Step 1/1: If you have Firefox do this, if not please stop reading this. Go to Help > About Mozilla Firefox. Can you see it? It's put up like this: ©1998-2009 Contributors. All rights reserved. ( Licensing information). Firefox and the Firefox... In stead of: ©1998-2009 Contributors. All rights reserved. **(**Licensing information). Firefox and the Firefox... Doesn't this bother anyone else?

CD drive problems in Windows 7 [modified]Hi Richard. Yes I did. The drive is also Win7 capable, and it worked before. I think I will just clean install W7 Ultimate and see what happens.

CD drive problems in Windows 7 [modified]***Orginal message*** Hi guys. I'm kinda new to this site so I'm not sure if this topic belongs here. Anyways, I've got a problem. I installed a clean version of W7 Ultimate (build 7600) some months ago and had no problems. Everything worked well until recently the computer hasn't been capable of loading the device drivers for my cd drive and tells me that the driver might be corrupted or missing (Code 39). I've tried uninstalling the driver for the drive and installing again but didn't work. I also noticed that Daemon tools didn't work so I uninstalled that and got the newest version but nothing got better. Are there any known issues of this sort in W7? I'm running Abit P35 Off limit motherboard, W7 Ultimate x64, TSSTcorp SH-203D ATA cd drive. ***Solution*** The problem was in the registry. I deleted every file called something Filter. Step 1: Run > Regedit Step 2: * HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE * SYSTEM * CurrentControlSet * Control * Class * {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Step 3: Delete all of the following files. * UpperFilters * LowerFilters * UpperFilters.bak * LowerFilters.bak Restart your computer. I found the solution here http://www.pchell.com/hardware/cd_drive_error_code_39.shtml[^] Thanks everybody for your help :) Regards, Viktor Blöndal
