I just started C++ not more than a few days ago, and I'm familiar with the input, output, and string functions. I want to learn how to work with the registry through a C++ application, and I've looked everywhere on the Internet for a simple explanation! -- But, no luck. All I can find are these complicated guides that "assume" the reader already knows a ton about working with the registry in C++. This is what I want to learn how to do: 1) Write a key (and it's value) to the registry 2) Read the value of a key in the registry 3) Change the value of a key in the registry If any of you can please write a step-by-step [beginner's] guide to using the registry, or if you already know of one available on the Internet, your help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
