If they're Jehovahs, I've found in the past that explaining Schrodinger's Cat to them (this takes about half an hour, so you've really got to be in the right frame of mind) works completely throws them and they go away looking confused. When I've been feeling less charitable, I have been known to invite them to become Blood Donors. Another trick is to tell them you've already been saved by another group (the Mormons work well in the UK, since there aren't many of them about. ;)) Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd Trouble with resource IDs? This is an equation you cannot tell a formula for. It involves some calculus knowledge. Best regards, Alexandru Savescu

I think your Math teacher is right that showing the solution is appropriate, because it show s the students grasp of the topic, But in the real world the answer is important. This particular problem would take me many pages to document clearly using true math, so I'm not going to bother attempting it. But if you are interested, in still trying it I suggest you approach the first column on the right first and discover the possible values for 'N' and 'E' then move to the second column and discover if you can eliminate the values for them. On the countrary, I assure you I was not scouring the net for peniswear! It was the website of the week on a student radio station I listen to (web or WMP). ____________________ David Wulff hu·mour Pronunciation Key (hymr) n. & v. One of the two people who wrote by iostreams book is female, and it is VERY good. The only thing is that she is obviously smarter than I am, and I need to read every page five times. I think the barrier to girls programming is social, not biological. It exists right now, but will fade in time. I don't see the big deal. I don't think Germans as a nation wanted to commit genocide, it was more a case of bystander apathy on a massive scale. I'd love to find those links, just to compare the quality of the feed.
