Ah ok, in fact before I downloaded the setup, I had to login to Passport.

Ah ok, in fact before I downloaded the setup, I had to login to Passport.
What do you make of it? There was something about it not working when I briefly tried it. Design struck me as a bit odd, didnt like it at first - had to make it blue instead of orange. Didnt use it long because I didnt trust the program i had to run along with it.

It's kinda okay. The icons are a little weird and it is harder to get at some items - an extra menu/toolbar indirection level. The notification icon in the tray looks odd though.

I promptly changed it to green and green. :) That orange is too garrish for me. ;)
I promptly uninstalled my copy. It thought the advertising in IM7 was pretty annoying, but in 8? Yikes! No thanks - there's plenty of other IM clients out there. cheers, Chris Maunder
