We're going to a classical music concert tonight. This weekend, no definite plans. Hang out, lounge around, sleep in, hopefully get an article on raw serialization finished. Marc Pensieve

Saturday morning I have to run wire through the walls for a phone line because tomorrow afternoon DirectTV is coming to install satellite. I'm getting the DVR player on my big screen, so I need a phone jack behind the TV. Sunday will be some other chores around the house. Regards, Brigg Thorp Senior Software Engineer Timex Corporation

I have some personal work to do this weekend. And if I get any free time, I'll be thinking up plans of getting rich in a few years time :-)

Ditto on the laundry, and then some HTML using my newly discovered tools, The GIMP, and NVu. Then maybe some getting to know VS2005 on Sunday and two little projects to finish. It doesn't sound like I have much of a life, but I partied too much before Christmas, and on Christmas, and I managed a decent good time on New Years, and now the inevitable January fiscal hangover dictates what I do in my spare time, and it's down to three choices: reading, housework, or coding. Right now however the guys are off on the office beer run. We have an unstocked bar, and most Fridays we just collect money and buy a few rounds for the bar. I can see them across the road at the bottle store, and I know they'll be back with Cold Ones soon. :-D I stopped in a restaurant last night and was treated to a delightful sampler. There was a birthday party having dinner, and they hired their own classical guitarist to entertain! What a treat!!:-D "...a photo album is like Life, but flat and stuck to pages." - Shog9

No, no. Now that you're married, your wife will be thinking up plans for how you will work your bum off making her rich in a few years time. ;P Marc Pensieve

I am hoping that this weekend will be nice and relaxing. It has been a very stressful week! I am hoping play some socom this weekend as well as working on a personal project that I am trying to get going. I of course will make some time for the NFL playoffs.
We shouldn't assume something's debugged just because everyone in the whole world has access to the source code.

We don't drink it in the office; we adjourn to the bar in our pause area1. But, if I had to bring a beer back to my desk now, nobody would complain unless I was busy releasing software. 1 That's what it's officially called. No such a mundane thing as a tea-room, or lunch area, it's a pukka Pause Area. I think some time and efficiency expert from the early 20th century2 invented that name to prevent people from 'stopping' work for tea, and instead only pausing. 2 Cheaper by the Dozen. We use SQL server 2000, and CPians gave a glowing recommendation of this book, even for SQL server 2000. :) Cheers, Vikram.

Tonight, I'm going to drink some Coors light and play NBA 2K6 on my 360. Saturday, I'll be washing my car. Then going out to lunch with my Dad. Saturday night I'm going to spend some QT with the woman. Sunday I'll be going to a Bridal show. I need to pick out a DJ for my wedding this July. "People who never make mistakes, never do anything." I'll probably be writing a contract termination letter( depending on whether I have a cheque on my doorstep on Saturday morning. ) So if there is no cheque, I'll be back looking for work to do over the next few months. So it'll be time to brush up my cv. Michael CP Blog [^] Development Blog [^]
